Convergence XX, April 25-26, 2014, Chicago IL

The first show in four years for the members of Sunshine Blind (Caroline Blind, CWHK, and original drummer Geoff Bruce), with William Faith (of Faith and the Muse, The Bell Weather Syndicate, etc. etc.) on bass took place in Chicago, at the Bottom Lounge, as part of the two day Goth Festival “Convergence XX”.  Staged each year for the past 20 years, always in a different city, the Convergence festival always attracts the family to wherever it is for music, art, gatherings, general socializing. Begun in 1994, Sunshine Blind were fortunate to play Convergence 1 (Chicago), Convergence 2 (Boston) and Convergence 3 (San Francisco). It was an especially sweet treat to be able to reunite to play Convergence XX and see and perform for everyone again! Upcoming show: DNA Lounge April 30th

I am curating the “house band” for this employee talent show. The members are myself on guitar and vocals, Cy Mike Biehn on drums, Tim Guandalini on bass, and Rob “Petrock” Petrovic on lead guitar. (Hope I spelled those right…) We all agreed on a bunch of rock cover songs, and are rehearsing on the weekends. It’s been really fun! The other acts include aerialists, wrestling, and visual art, as well as bands, Dj’s and MC’s, all people who work at the ol’ Lounge or DNA Pizza. Come down and see us all do our thang April 30th @ DNA Lounge. Details on the DNA Website:
